When I was a kid, I loved Star Trek. And I have to confess, I still do. In fact, when J.J. Abrams sequel/prequel/reboot was released on May 8th, 2009, I was at the Arclight theater on Hollywood Boulevard for one of the first showings – in my blue Starfleet uniform. (It’s ok, my wife wore one too.)

Why film?

It’s a fair question. There are thousands of career choices, millions of ways to spend your free time, and only a precious few number of hours in our lives. Why spend time, that most limited and non-renewable of resources, on a quest to entertain people?

Maybe because films can be so much more.
